Yes. As long as you enable the specific language input on your iPad, you will be able to enter characters in that language, just like the on-screen keyboard.
To switch between languages, press the 'global' key (fn+5 combo) on the keyboard, which behaves similarly to the globe key of the on-screen soft keyboard. Please refer to the User Guide of the Bluetooth keyboard for further instructions.
